Our work before adopting CODEXIS AI
Until fairly recently, our firm worked in a way that is common in legal practice. All of our attorneys – from junior colleagues to partners – used established legal databases and competing tools that have long been regarded as the market standard.
That way of working was functional. The information was available. But the problem wasn’t the data – it was the time, the clarity and the certainty of the result. We had the information at hand, yet finding and assessing it often took more time than would have been ideal – especially in more complex cases.
This was particularly evident in employment law, which we handle most often. Employment disputes are frequently complex on the facts, the case law keeps evolving and a small detail can have a decisive impact on the outcome.
